What is Energy Healing?

Energy healing takes on many forms and is distinctly expressed by each practitioner. At Restoring You, an energy healing session is truly unique to you and what you need most that the time. In each session, Deb pulls from several healing modalities to address your challenges including:

  • Medical Qigong is a branch of ancient Chinese medicine that utilizes the five elements to restore harmony to the body, mind, and spirit. Its powerful practices are applied as session treatments as well as the gentle movement forms for homework.

  • Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality that harnesses Ki (Universal Lifeforce Energy) to rebalance and align chakras and address physical concerns.

  • Angelic Reiki is another facet of healing energy channeled from the Angelic Realms via Healing Angels, Archangels, Ascended Masters and Galactic Healers.

  • Crystals provide beautiful support during a session. Simply holding crystals and/or placing them on the body can support physical, emotional and spiritual healing.

  • Trance Channel healing incorporates the divine point-of-view into the session by connecting with your Higher Self, spirit guides, archangels, ascended masters, departed loved ones, and/or past life memory to provide insight enabling you to re-remember your true spiritual self.

Because Universal Lifeforce Energy is not bound by time and space, all energy healing sessions and classes can be performed in-person or remotely yielding similar outcomes.

What happens in an Energy Healing Session?

In a standard treatment Reiki energy flows from the practitioners hands into the client. The client is usually laying on a massage table but treatments can also be given while the client is seated or even standing. The client remains fully clothed. The practitioner places her/his hands on or near the clients body in a series of hand positions. These include positions around the head and shoulders, the stomach, and feet. Other, more specific positions may be used based on the clients needs. Each position is held for three to ten minutes depending on how much Reiki the client needs at each position. The whole treatment usually lasts between 45 and 90 minutes.
